- 02Generate a WooCommerce REST API key
In WordPress admin, go to WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API → Add key. Set Permissions to Read/Write.
- 03Paste the keys into Kreton
In Kreton Settings → Integrations, paste the Consumer Key, Consumer Secret and your store URL. Kreton verifies the credentials and lists your products.

Does Kreton work with self-hosted WooCommerce?
Yes. The REST API integration works with any WooCommerce install on WordPress — self-hosted or managed (WP Engine, Kinsta, Pressable, etc.).
Does it support WooCommerce variations (size, colour)?
Yes. Variations get their own imagery on publish. Kreton matches WooCommerce variation IDs and pushes per-variation hero + gallery atomically.
Is the integration compatible with Yoast SEO and RankMath?
Yes. Alt text and image SEO metadata generated by Kreton are written via the standard meta keys, so Yoast / RankMath read them correctly on render.
Will it break my theme's image sizes?
No. Kreton uploads originals and WordPress generates the registered thumbnails per your theme's configuration. The cards, grids and PDP hero crops keep their existing sizes.
Can I use Kreton with a headless WooCommerce setup?
Yes — either publish via the REST API (which works headless), or skip the storefront push and consume Kreton's raw R2/S3 exports directly.
